About Gerry...

Gerry Dedenbach, AICP + LEED AP, began his professional planner on August 20^th, of 1990, following graduation from the University of Florida. Initially, Gerry was with the North Central Florida Regional Planning Council, providing planning services to an eleven (11) county region and the Gainesville/Alachua County Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization for a dozen years.

 In 2002 Gerry entered the private sector and started the planning department at what was Causseaux & Ellington, which became CHW; where he became a partner. Most recently CHW was purchased by NV5, then subsequently by TiC Solutions, who perform a wide variety of engineering, testing, inspection, certification, and compliance services along with geotechnical and geospatial services. 

 Gerry has provided professional planning services by obtaining Land Use, Zoning, Special Use Permits, Special Exceptions, and providing master planning for sites ranging from a single parcel to large master planned communities across the region and State of Florida. Gerry has also served on the Alachua County Planning Commission, chaired several board including the City’s Historic Preservation Board, the Gainesville/Alachua County Regional Airport Authority, the Urban Land Institute’s local section, and is in his second term chairing the American Planning Association’s San Felasco Section which covers north central Florida.
